The project draws creatively on traditions in which letters also carried numerical value, and on historical numbering systems. It treats those traditions as material for reflection, not as proof of anything.
Where historical material is discussed, the standards of the Studio Method apply: evidence stays evidence, interpretation stays interpretation.
